OctoEverywhere and OctoApp are both 3D printing community apps, but they are made by completely different developers! We know that’s confusing.
Background
Both start with “Octo” because they began as extensions of OctoPrint. It’s common in the OctoPrint ecosystem for plugins and apps that work with OctoPrint to be called “Octo” something.
But over time, both OctoEverywhere and OctoApp have grown to support many more platforms. The developers behind OctoApp and OctoEverywhere have a very strong relationship. OctoApp is one of the top apps to support OctoEverywhere’s features.
Subscriptions
OctoEverywhere and OctoApp also have different subscriptions. OctoEverywhere’s Supporter Perks can only be purchased from OctoEverywhere’s website, support the project, and unlock extra features for the user, like 3rd-party app support.
OctoApp also offers an in-app subscription to unlock extra features, usually purchased through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. These two subscriptions are completely independent. OctoApp subscriptions can only be managed by OctoApp. For help with OctoApp subscriptions, use the OctoApp support system.
