There are two ways plugins can use authentication to interact with PrusaLink:
  1. Using your PursaLink username and password
  2. Using your PrusaLink API key
If you want to use your username and password, simply enter them in the OctoEverywhere PrusaLink plugin when prompted.
Remember if you change your password, you will need to update the plugin settings!
PrusaLink will generate an API key that the OctoEverywhere plugin can use to access PrusaLink. The main advantage is that it does not change when you update your password! Here’s how to find or generate your PrusaLink API key:
  1. Open PrusaLink in your browser.
  2. Click the “Settings” text at the top right.
  3. Scroll down to “API Key”
  4. Copy the API key, and you’re done!
If the API key is blank, click the “Reset” button to generate it! This will happen the first time you try to access the API key.
