OctoEverywhere provides a free cloud MCP server for 3D Printing, usable by any AI assistant or agent that supports MCP. It’s secure and private by default, and is extremely easy to set up. We designed our server to be as compatible as possible.

Set up Your 3D Printer MCP Claude Connector

  1. Open the Claude desktop app on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
  2. Click your name in the bottom left to open the profile menu, then select Settings.
  3. In the Settings menu, select Connectors.
  4. Press the “Add custom connector” button at the bottom.
  5. Enter any name you wish.
  6. Use the following URL for the “Remote MCP server URL.”
    1. https://octoeverywhere.com/api/mcp
  7. Leave all of the other settings at their defaults.
  8. Press the “Add” button.
  9. Log in to OctoEverywhere.
  10. Done!
