The OctoPrint plugin is the easiest to update. You use OctoPrint’s built-in plugin manager to update the plugin. Here’s how:
  1. Go to your OctoPrint web interface.
  2. Click the wrench icon in the top right to open OctoPrint’s settings.
  3. Select “Software Update” from the left vertical list.
  4. Select the “Check for updates” button.
  5. When it’s complete, select the “Update” button if any updates are found.
  6. After OctoPrint restarts, you’ll be up to date!
You can update the OctoEverywhere plugin for Klipper in several ways.Option 1 - Use The Mainsail of Fluidd Web UIFor some Klipper installs, you can update the OctoEverywhere plugin directly from the Mainsail or Fluidd web UI.
If you don’t see OctoEverywhere listed in the Mainsail or Fluidd UI, use Option 2 to update your plugin.
For Mainsail:
  1. Open your Mainsail web portal
  2. Select “Machine” on the left.
  3. In the “Update Manager”, click the circular refresh arrow icon.
  4. Click the “UPDATE” text in the OctoEverywhere component column.
For Fluidd:
  1. Open your Fluidd web portal
  2. Click the gear icon in the left-hand bar to open settings.
  3. Select “Software Updates”
  4. Select “Check for updates”
  5. Click the “UPDATE” text in the OctoEverywhere component column.
Option 2 - Update Via SSHIf you can’t do option 1, you can update OctoEverywhere easily by accessing your device via SSH.
  1. SSH into the device running the OctoEverywhere plugin.
  2. In your user root, there should be a script called ”./update-octoeverywhere.sh”
    1. To run the script, type ”./update-octoeverywhere.sh”
    2. For some OS types, you need to use “sh ./update-octoeverywhere.sh”
  3. The script will update all of the OctoEverywhere plugins on your system!
You can update the OctoEverywhere Bambu Connect, Elegoo Connect,If you need help, contact our support team; we will gladly help! or Companion plugin by accessing your device via SSH.
