# Setup Bambu Connect On A Raspberry Pi

OctoEverywhere's [Bambu Connect](https://octoeverywhere.com/bambu?source=help_pi_install) enables the full power of OctoEverywhere on any Bambu Lab 3D printer. OctoEverywhere levels up your Bambu Lab printer with free & unlimited [remote access](https://octoeverywhere.com/bambu?source=help_pi_install), [AI print failure detection](https://octoeverywhere.com/bambu?source=help_pi_install), [real-time notifications](https://octoeverywhere.com/bambu?source=help_pi_install), and more.

Bambu Connect can't be installed directly on the Bambu Lab printer; you need a separate device. You can use any existing Debian-based Linux device, including devices running OctoPi, MainsailOS, Klipper, Home Assistant, and more.

Most users who don't have an existing device get a Raspberry Pi 4 to run Bambu Connect. If you need help, our full guide covers buying a Raspberry Pi 4 and setting it up.
